Gardening Honey

Today there is a brand new release with the cutest Honeys over at Scrapper's Delights. My take on this is with Gerdening Honey.

This Honey felt very much "pastelly" to me so very soft colors. She's colored with Copics.

Mixed media inspired by Finnabair

This is my second attemt with mixed media. I stumbled upon a Youtube Movie with Finnabair, and I fell in love with the technique. So I gave it a go......
I started with a black canvas

I added some diecuts and used gesso on stencils to get a 3d feel

I found this Beautiful lady when I googled, printed her on a textured paper. Sprayed some mists and Dylusions ink spray to get some shimmer

I added lace and tissuepaper as a dress

...some more lace as a headband and Pearls as a necklace

many, many flowers in her hair, an earring and wings. Some metal trinkets here and there and some Inkagold to highlighten some areas

Gesso on the flowers to soften the colors and black matt gesso around her as a shadow

Some details with diecuts and trinkets

Wooden stars and metal flowers

Wings with Inkagold....

and crackled glaze on some details

.
.
.
.
.
This is the finished result

I am really pleased with it ♥

now to figure out what my next mixed media Project would be.....
